I talked to Travel Specialist, and owner of Best Life Travel, Dee Martin to discuss the future of travel as the pandemic starts to decline and what travelers can expect when they hit the road and the friendly skies this summer. |

FOF: How far in advance should travelers book trips?
Dee: Travelers should book at least 6-12 months in advance. If travelers book their trip within this timeframe, it allows them to have access to lower rates and plenty of time to pay off their trip in monthly affordable increments.

FOF: Do you think the future of travel has changed forever? If so, how? If not, when do you think things will be back to normal?
Dee: I believe the future of travel has changed in regards to how and the way we travel. Now we have to wear a mask the entire time we are traveling through the airport and on the plane. Although we don’t have the freedom to walk through the airport and be on the plane without a mask, we are still allowed to travel. Another thing we can expect in the future is for travelers to have an electronic vaccine record to be kept using an app on our phones. My belief is that this recommendation will soon become a requirement for all who wish to travel. The way we are allowed to travel now, while abiding by COVID safety protocols, is indeed our new normal. |
