2020 started out as a dumpster fire and has only grown more out of control as the year goes on! Australian wildfires, Trump's impeachment (didn't go exactly as hoped for), Kobe Bryant's tragic death, coronavirus pandemic, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Aubrey, & George Floyd's murders, protests and a major upcoming Presidential election. . .whew, and it's only August.

Black women in their fifties don't seem to be mentioned in the larger societal conversations or when the pandemic, civil unrest, social injustices, and political elections are being discussed. So, let's have our own conversation. How are we doing? How are we handling this year so far?  Let's Chat!

To make sure we are able to have a meaningful conversation and give everyone a chance to be heard, the number of participants will be limited. If you are interested in participating in the chat as a guest (not just a viewer), complete the form below!

"We live in a youth-obsessed culture that is constantly trying to tell us that if we are not young, and we’re not glowing, and we’re not hot, that we don’t matter. I refuse to let a system or a culture or a distorted view of reality tell me that I don’t matter. I know that only by owning who and what you are can you start to step into the fullness of life. Every year should be teaching us all something valuable. Whether you get the lesson is really up to you." – Oprah Winfrey
